In Sonic Boom Town your task is to blow up specific targets using sound coming from the sound system, which is built in to your vehicle. The goal is to get to the buildings as quick as possible and blow them up with your bass booster!
The playing field is shown from above and looks like the early GTA releases. The radar on the map will show where your target is located, so you can get to it. Once at the scene you have to destroy the buildings with your sound system, by increasing the volume. This is done by holding the space bar long enough for the target to be destroyed.
Your vehicle is controlled, using the arrows on your keyboard.
If you take too long to get to the target, you lose, and if it takes too long to destroy it you also lose the game. While using the sound system to blow up the targets the car battery is drained. Driving the vehicle recharges the battery again. All of this needs to be accomplished within the given time so you can move on to the next level.
Sonic Boom Town is a fast game, with excellent graphics, even better soundtrack and overall well thought through. This is the type of game that will keep you playing for a long time and surely you will want to play more, so be sure to add Sonic Town to your list of favorites.
